3-6-18 Unit 2 Library

On March 1, 2018, the class took a trip to the library to pick a book that we found related to us.

Above is a picture of the book that caught my eye, Smart Spaces: Storage At Home.
Above is a page from the book that I found related to me most because this would be my ideal home.

Above is a picture of me reading the book at the library.

My Relationship With The Library

My personal relationship with the library has changed since I started high school. I used to read so many books per a week that I would have to bring a book bag to the library with me in order to carry all the books. I enjoyed reading about life, love and crime; the Pretty Little Liars series and Gossip Girl series were some of my favorites that were later made into television shows. I was very enthusiastic about reading and I think it had a lot to do with how the libraries had the book challenge where you got a stamp for every book you read. It gave me a sense of accomplishment, especially so when I read more books than my siblings. I think my relationship with technology has influenced my relationship with the brick-and-mortar library in that I don't read physical books anymore unless it is assigned to be read because it has become a hassle to carry around and I don't have free time to read. Personally, it is something I want to work because reading used to be something I was passionate about and it's sad that it has become a chore nowadays.
